Project Continuum Business or Technical Analysts typically play a business analyst, financial analyst, or technical analyst roles and they apply functional or technical analytical skills to support project initiatives. Typical tasks include:
- interfacing with clients daily and conduct user interviews
- develop client deliverables such as business and functional requirements (use case scenarios, process model, system interaction diagram, user interface prototypes)
- facilitate meetings and participate in working sessions with clients
- create functional specifications/design for an application
- plan user acceptance tests (and execute tests, as required)
- develop user guides/manuals or system operations guide
Analyst typically have:
- 3-7 years related consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm showing progression/promotion
- business acumen; experience working in multiple industries
- ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
- outstanding verbal and written communications skills
- proven technical aptitude and interest
